Professor Ikemoto Speaks at American Society for Bioethics & Humanities Annual Conference

Professor Lisa Ikemoto gave a presentation at the American Society for Bioethics & Humanities Annual Conference on October 8 in Washington, DC.  The panel was called, “CRISPR Dreams and Women’s Bodies.”  Professor Ikemoto’s talk was titled “Research Donors and Platform Bodies in Human Genetic Modification Research.”

Lisa Ikemoto, Martin Luther King, Jr. Professor of Law the UC Davis School of Law, has written extensively on genetic and reproductive technology, the regulation of fertility and pregnancy, and race and gender disparities in health care. Her current work examines emerging issues in regenerative medicine, including stem cell research, and the human tissues market.
