Professor Bennoune Keynotes Indigenous Peoples' Rights Conference

She also spoke on the same topic at a session of the 15th United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues at the UN in New York. Bennoune was the first holder of the cultural rights mandate to address this forum, comprised of states, UN bodies, representatives of indigenous peoples, and civil society.
