Professor Chander Speaks at World Trade Organization Conference

Professor Anupam Chander spoke at the 20th anniversary conference for the World Trade Organization at Harvard Law School in April 2016. The conference, WTO@20, brought together current and former Appellate Body members, as well as leading trade lawyers and academics, to discuss the future of the WTO. Professor Chander presented his paper, "Robots, the Internet of Things, and the Future of Trade."

Professor Chander spoke as part of a panel of the E15 Expert Group on the Digital Economy, convened by the World Economic Forum and the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD).

Professor Chander, Martin Luther King, Jr. Professor of Law at UC Davis School of Law, is a leading scholar of international economic law and cyberlaw. He is the author of The Electronic Silk Road: How the Web Binds the World in Commerce, published in 2013 by Yale University Press.
