Jeannette Lebell '89 Publishes Essay on 'Death with Dignity' Legislation

Jeannette Lebell '89 published an essay in the Santa Rosa newspaper The Press Democrat supporting California legislation that would affirm the right of terminally ill patients to a physician-assisted death.  Lebell, who lives in Sebastopol and currently works as a medical assistant, references her husband's long battle with cancer and writes, "Every family is one bad death away from understanding their desperate need for aid in dying."
