Join the 50th Anniversary Celebration: Share Your King Hall Story!
What memories come to mind when you think of King Hall? Maybe it was something a professor said that stayed with you through the years. Maybe it was the first time you gave an oral argument without having a nervous breakdown, or something a friend did to help you through finals. Whatever it might be, we want you to share your King Hall memories as part of the UC Davis School of Law 50th Anniversary Celebration.
This fall, UC Davis School of Law welcomed its 50th entering class, kicking off a 50th Anniversary Celebration that includes events, presentations, publications, and a 50th Anniversary website featuring historical photos, videos, a timeline, and more. As part of the festivities, we're inviting you to participate by contributing to "King Hall Memories," a collection of stories and anecdotes that will be published online and in a special edition of the Counselor magazine. We are accepting items from alumni, students, faculty, staff, and everyone else in our King Hall community.
We are looking for stories that exemplify the UC Davis School of Law experience and what it means to be part of the King Hall community, but any story or anecdote can work, so long as it is meaningful to you. Tell us about the best class you ever had, the student or faculty member who inspired you, the funny thing that happened during a group study session, or anything else that you remember from your King Hall years.
We must ask that you keep your submission as brief as possible: no more than 200 words, please. You may submit more than one item if you have multiple memories you'd like to share. A selection of alumni submissions will appear in the 50th Anniversary issue of the Counselor magazine, due out this fall, and more will be published online on the 50th Anniversary website.
We're hoping that this compilation of "King Hall Memories" will be an informative and entertaining feature that will help put in perspective the amazing history of UC Davis School of Law on the occasion of King Hall's 50th Anniversary. For that to happen, we need your participation. Please contribute your King Hall memory using the link below!
