Professor Lee Speaks at Korea University and Seoul National University, Meets with Korean Judges

Professor Peter Lee recently gave a series of talks and met with judges in Korea. He visited the Patent Court of Korea in Daejeon, where he discussed U.S. and Korean patent law with the Chief Judge and several other judges. He also participated in an international seminar co-sponsored by the Korean Intellectual Property Law Association and the European Unified Patent Court. He spoke at Korea University Law School as part of a joint seminar with professors from Kyushu University of Japan. There, he presented research focused on cultural changes arising from increased university patenting and technology transfer. Professor Lee also spoke at Seoul National University, where he lectured on patentable subject matter in biotechnology and presented at the Foreign Authority Forum, where he again addressed academic patenting and technology transfer.

Professor Lee's scholarly work addresses the intersection of science and society, particularly exploring the patent system's impact on scientific and technological progress.
