Dean Johnson Speaks at Social Psychology and Law Preconference

Dean Kevin R. Johnson spoke at the Social Psychology and Law Preconference held in Long Beach on February 26. The event featured presentations in the areas of discrimination, procedural justice/social justice, and immigration. Dean Johnson offered a talk about the role of race in U.S. immigration law and enforcement, both with respect to the law and its enforcement and the public debate over immigration and immigration reform.

Kevin R. Johnson is Dean and Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and Chicana/o studies at UC Davis School of Law. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
