Professor Frank Authors Op-Ed on California’s Low-Carbon Fuel Standard for Los Angeles and San Francisco Editions of The Daily Journal
Professor of Environmental Practice Richard M. Frank '74 authored an op-ed on California's low-carbon fuel standard for the Los Angeles and San Francisco editions of The Daily Journal. The U.S. Supreme Court recently declined to review litigation at the heart of California's efforts to reduce the state's greenhouse gas emissions. In his column, titled "Clear Skies for State Fuel Standard," Professor Frank explains why he believes the Supreme Court's refusal to hear the case is critically important to the development of effective climate change policy.
Frank, a 1974 graduate of King Hall, is a leader in the field of environmental law and the founding Director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
