Professor Chander Speaks at World Trade Organization Forum

Professor Anupam Chander spoke at the World Trade Organization's annual World Public Forum, in Geneva, Switzerland, in October. The theme of the conference  was "Expanding Trade through Innovation and the Digital Economy."

Professor Chander spoke on two panels, "Development in a digital age: how technology and the internet are expanding access to the global marketplace," organized by the National Foreign Trade Council, and "Addressing 21st century trade issues: the importance of cross-border information flows," organized by the law firm of King & Spaulding. The World Public Forum proved a platform for public debate for issues of global trade.

Professor Anupam Chander is a leading scholar in the law of globalization and digitization, and has written widely on international law and cyber law.  He is also Director of the California International Law Center at King Hall.
