Professor Joh Cited on Privacy and Genetic Information in Reason

Scholarship by Professor Elizabeth Joh is cited in an article in Reason magazine on genetic privacy.  The article, which considers whether individuals ought to have privacy rights with regard to their genetic information, cites Professor Joh's article on DNA theft, and lists several scenarios she has offered in which surreptitious testing presents privacy law issues and might be addressed by a law criminalizing non-consensual DNA collection.

Professor Joh's scholarship focuses on criminal procedure and policing, with a special emphasis on DNA evidence, undercover policing, and new surveillance technologies.
