Dean Kevin R. Johnson and Professor Leticia Saucedo will serve as part of a team of UC Davis faculty participating in an interdisciplinary research initiative exploring the topic of "Managing Temporary Migrations: California, the U.S., and the World."

The research team was one of seven "clusters" to receive awards as part of the new Interdisciplinary Frontiers in the Humanities and Arts (IFHA) program at UC Davis. In total, $3.6 million will be awarded to seven highly innovative, interdisciplinary IFHA clusters over a three-year period.  The cluster on "Managing Temporary Migrations" will be led by UC Davis Professor of Economics Giovanni Peri.
