Judge Stacy Boulware Eurie '95 Honored at 'Lawyers Helping Kids' Event

Stacy Boulware Eurie '95, Presiding Judge of the Sacramento County Juvenile Court and a member of the King Hall Alumni Association Board, was honored at "Lawyers Helping Kids," a special event sponsored by the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) in Sacramento on May 23.  She received the CASA IMPACT award for her dedication and service to the community's children and families.

Among those in attendance at the event were Dean Kevin R. Johnson and Alumni Board members Gene Woo '85 and Judge Judy Hersher '84.

Judge Boulware Eurie was appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to the Sacramento Superior Court in June 2007. In January 2012, Presiding Judge Steve White appointed her to the position of Presiding Judge of the Juvenile Court. She has been an active member of the legal community, participating in the Wiley Manuel Bar Association, and previously served as the President of the Sacramento County Bar Association. She is presently a Judicial Master of the Anthony M. Kennedy Inn of Court has served on the boards of the State Bar's Litigation Section and the Women Lawyers of Sacramento.
