Professor Sunder Speaks in Paris on Religious Freedom and Gender Equality

Professor Madhavi Sunder spoke in Paris on September 19 about the Muslim headscarf and burqa bans in France and the conflict between religious liberty and gender equality at a first of its kind conference on "Feminist Legal Theory in France" at the Université Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense. 

Madhavi Sunder is a Professor of Law at King Hall whose special interests included intellectual property, law and culture studies, women's rights, and international intellectual property.
