King Hall Students Excel in Cyber Crimes Moot Court Competition

UC Davis School of Law students competed in the inaugural Cyber Crimes Moot Court Competition held at UCLA School of Law April 7-8.  Lester Ang '13, Kristin Charbonnier '13, Mohammed Osman '13, and Dan Schneiderman '13 competed in three rounds of oral arguments against teams representing eight law schools from around the country. Osman and Schneiderman advanced to the finals, placing second.

The Cyber Crimes team would like to thank Alex Vahdat '12 for his guidance and assistance in organizing the team's involvement in and preparation for the competition. The team also would like to thank Scott Koller of the global law firm DLA Piper and moot court board members Ryan Norman '12 and Anthony Bettencourt '12 for their assistance in preparing for the competition.
