King Hall-Petrobras Partnership Highlighted

Plans for 22 attorneys from Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. (Petrobras), Brazil, an international leader in energy production, to receive training in U.S. law at King Hall during April drew media coverage from the Davis Enterprise.  The April 9 article noted that 145 Petrobras attorneys have received training at UC Davis School of Law since 2006.

"By increasing their understanding of appropriate technical language and effective dispute resolution strategies, these attorneys increase their ability to arbitrate and work within the framework of U.S. contract law, an essential component of doing business in and with the United States," stated Beth Greenwood, executive director of the international law programs.
