Professor Pruitt Speaks at Environmental Justice Symposium

Professor Lisa R. Pruitt spoke at "Overcoming Invisibility: Environmental Justice in Rural America," the 8th Annual Environmental Justice Symposium held at UC Berkeley School of Law February 27-March 2.  Professor Pruitt moderated a panel discussion entitled "A Call to Action in Rural America."

Lisa R. Pruitt is a professor at UC Davis School of Law whose recent scholarship explores the legal relevance of rural spatiality, including how it inflects dimensions of gender, race, and ethnicity.  Pruitt's work also considers rural-urban difference in transnational and international contexts.
