Atticus Lee '13 Named as Latham & Watkins Diversity Scholar

Atticus Lee '13 has been named as one of six Latham & Wilkins Diversity Scholars for the current academic year, the law firm has announced.  More than 200 students from 80 law schools applied for the honor, which celebrates "tenacity and dedication to inclusiveness" and includes a $10,000 scholarship. 

Lee studied as an undergraduate at Stanford University, where she obtained a BA in Human Biology with a minor in Creative Writing.  She also worked extensively on anthropological issues of women's footbinding in rural China and represented transgender and queer students on the Stanford Genderblind Taskforce. At King Hall, she is a member of the UC Davis Law Review, the UC Davis Moot Court Program, as well as the King Hall Intellectual Property Law Association, and serves as the Clinic Director for the Sacramento LGBT Community Clinic and as Senior Articles Editor for Environs: The UC Davis School of Law Journal of Environmental Law.
