Dean Johnson to Speak on Immigration at Chapman University Conference

Dean Kevin R. Johnson will speak on "The `New' Civil Rights:  Is the `New' Birmingham the same as the `Old' Birmingham?" at the Public Sociology Conference at Chapman University on March 16. The conference is entitled "Faceless Latino/a Immigrants: Pathways to Resistance."

Kevin R. Johnson is Dean and Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and Chicana/o studies at UC Davis School of Law. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
