Professors Harris, Pruitt Speak at UNC Law Conference on Race, Gender & Ethnicity

Professors Angela Harris and Lisa R. Pruitt spoke at the University of North Carolina School of Law on February 25 as part of the Conference on Race, Gender & Ethnicity.  Professor Harris delivered the keynote address and Professor Pruitt participated in a panel discussion on "Failing Institutions: Inequality in a Nation Where All Men are Created Equal."

Angela Harris is one of the nation's foremost scholars in the fields of critical race theory, feminist legal theory, and civil rights. Lisa R. Pruitt's recent scholarship explores the legal relevance of rural spatiality, including how it inflects dimensions of gender, race, and ethnicity.
