Reynoso Bio Film Airing on PBS

Cruz Reynoso: Sowing the Seeds of Justice, Abby Ginzberg's film on the life of Professor Cruz Reynoso, is airing on Public Broadcasting Service television stations across the country in coming weeks.  Local PBS station KVIE broadcasted the film in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month on September 26 and September 28.  Bay Area PBS station KQED showed the documentary on September 24 and September 27.

The film is also slated to air on the national PBS network and on PBS affiliates in states including Florida, Illinois, Texas, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington.

A member of the UC Davis School of Law faculty since 2001, Professor Reynoso is an internationally known civil rights leader, the first Latino to sit on the California Supreme Court, and a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor.  He has been awarded the UC Davis Medal, the university's highest honor, and the Law School has established the Cruz & Jeannene Reynoso Scholarship for Legal Access to help students with financial needs.
