Professor Lee Speaks at Intellectual Property Workshops in Kenya

Professor Peter Lee recently participated in a four-day series of workshops in Nairobi, Kenya, focused on intellectual property law.  The workshops were co-sponsored by the Public Intellectual Property Resource for Agriculture (PIPRA), the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the World Intellectual Property Organization, and the Kenya Industrial Property Institute.  Professor Lee gave a series of talks on IP-related agreements and university-industry technology transfer to entrepreneurs, academics, and government officials from member states of the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization.

Professor Lee's scholarly work addresses the intersection of science and society, particularly exploring the patent system's impact on scientific and technological progress.
