King Hall Hosts Law Revision Commission Meeting

UC Davis School of Law hosted a meeting of the California Law Revision Commission in the Stallard Family Conference Room in King Hall's new east wing on October 14.  The CLRC, which conducts substantive review of California law and makes recommendations to the state Legislature regarding needed reforms, has had an office in King Hall since the new wing opened in August, but this was the first meeting to bring the full commission to UC Davis School of Law.

Attending the meeting were Diane Boyer-Vine '86, a CLRC commissioner and member of the Legislative Counsel of California, and CLRC Executive Secretary Nathaniel Sterling '70, who recently made a gift to establish the Law Revision Commission Fund at King Hall, which provides scholarship assistance to students who work with the commission, and supports faculty research and consultation with the commission.   Also in attendance at various times during the meeting and the reception that followed were Tom Stallard '75 and Lucinda Calvo '10, as well as several King Hall faculty members.
