Dean Johnson to Speak on Immigration at C-SPAN/PBS Taping

Dean Kevin R. Johnson will participate in a panel discussion of "Immigration: Educational, Economic, and Political Perspectives" that will be broadcast nationally by the C-SPAN and PBS networks.  The panel will take place as part of the American Association of Hispanics in Higher Education (AAHHE) National Conference on March 6 in Costa Mesa.

In additional to the national broadcast, the AAHHE is planning to distribute complementary educational materials and published versions of the proceedings in order to encourage a nationwide discussion of immigration issues.

Kevin R. Johnson is Dean and Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and Chicana/o studies at UC Davis School of Law. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
