Featuring Charles Fried: Charles Fried is the Beneficial Professor of Law at Harvard Law School. He served as United States solicitor general under President Ronald Reagan and as an associate justice of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. Fried has written and lectured extensively on liberty and the limits of power, including in cases of torture, privacy, and medical experimentation.
