32nd Annual Lorenzo Patiño Banquet

Saturday, March 1

Please join the La Raza Law Students Association for our annual banquet honoring the late Lorenzo Patiño '73. Lorezo Patiño was a highly respected leader in Sacramento's Latino community. He was one of the first Mexican-Americans appointed to the Municipal Court of Sacramento and co-founded the University of Northern California School of Law. He had an enormous impact on the community as an attorney, jurist, and community activist.

In addition to paying tribute to Lorenzo Patiño, the banquet also honors La Raza's graduating students. We will be presenting the Patiño Award to a student who exemplifies extraordinary service and dedication to the Latino and legal community at large. Funds raised by the banquet will fund scholarships for La Raza students.
