Law School Bar Passage Rates Announced

Posted Jan 4, 2019

The State Bar of California has released bar passage rates  by law school for the July 2018 exam. Nearly every ABA-accredited school experienced declines compared to last year. The State Bar also issued a report authored by Research Solutions Group which examined the reasons for lower bar passage rates. Based on responses from 11 participating law schools, the report concluded the best predictors of success on the exam were final law school GPA and LSAT score. The State Bar also announced a new study that will gather information on the knowledge and skills expected of new attorneys practicing in California.
