Disney Sues Providers of Costumed Characters for Birthday Parties

Disney was recently rebuffed in a trademark lawsuit against “Characters for Hire”, a provider of costumed characters for birthday parties. Although the defendant uses fake names for its characters, Disney alleged trademark dilution because of character similarities.
