Posted Apr 28, 2017

Sacramento Superior Court Judge Raymond Cadei issued a tentative order to dismiss the lawsuit by Kings County and other opponents’ attempting to block the state from spending $1.25 billion in bond sales for use on the high-speed rail project.  The lawsuit challenged AB 1889  that changed previous laws to allow money from high-speed rail bonds to be spent on the electrification of 55 miles of track from south of San Jose to San Francisco.
