Delta Tunnels Final Environmental Impact Report Released

After years of planning, California and federal officials have finalized 97,000 pages of environmental documents to support Governor Jerry Brown’s controversial $15.5 billion dollar project to build two massive tunnels below the largest freshwater estuary on the West Coast and send water to other parts of the state. In a press release, Governor Brown stated “This project has been subjected to 10 years of detailed analysis and more environmental review than any other project in the history of the world.
