Ninth Circuit Hears Oral Arguments in Spokeo Case

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals heard oral arguments in a consumer privacy case on remand from the U.S. Supreme Court (Robins v. Spokeo, Inc.). The Supreme Court ruled that the Ninth Circuit had not been thorough enough in its analysis of whether the plaintiff’s injury was concrete and particular to him. The plaintiff alleged that Spokeo unlawfully published false information about him in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act . Read this article in Reuters.
