Hearing in Apple Case Vacated

The federal government filed a motion in the Apple case involving the San Bernardino shooting suspect’s iPhone.  In their filing, they indicated that they may have found a way to unlock the iPhone with the help of an outside party.  The hearing scheduled for March 22nd was vacated at the government’s request, “as there is presently uncertainty surrounding the government’s need for Apple’s assistance”.  Read articles in the New York Times and San Jose Mercury News.
