Fifth Circuit Upholds Injunction against President’s Immigration Policy Reform

The Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit upheld an injunction blocking President Obama’s Immigration Reform Program, “Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents” (DAPA). The District Court had issued the injunction after 26 states challenged the DAPA under the Administrative Procedure Act (APA), Texas v. United States, 86 F.Supp.3d 591.
