UC Presidential Post-Bar Public Service Fellowships
In 2016, University of California President Janet Napolitano announced the formation of new public service fellowships intended to help students at four of the UC law schools launch careers serving the public in non-profit organizations or government agencies.
Subject to funding approval from UCOP for 2019, the UC Presidential Post-Bar Public Service Fellowship will last 12 months and come with a salary of $45,000. In addition to a $45,000 salary, partnership fellows would receive a bar-study stipend of $2,500. All fellows receive an invitation to attend the annual UC Presidential Public Service Fellows Conference. Pending funding approval for 2019, current King Hall 3rd year students could obtain a UC Presidential Post-Bar Public Service Fellowship in one of two ways:
