TO THE KING HALL COMMUNITY
Happy New Year! Welcome back to UC Davis School of Law. I hope the holidays were a time of joy for you, your family, and friends.
As always, King Hall has many wonderful events to look forward to this spring. Next week is Martin Luther King, Jr. week, one of the highlights of the school year. In the coming months, we will also see César Chávez Week and the Neumiller Competition (as well as many other student competitions). The Center for Science and Innovation Studies, California Environmental Law & Policy Center, and the California International Law Center at King Hall will all be presenting programs with guest speakers from across the globe. Coming weeks also bring (1) the Fenwick and West Symposium on “Connect! Social Media as a Platform for Innovation and Collaboration,” featuring Twitter co-founder Jason Goldman, on February 3; and (2) the 2012 Edward L. Barrett, Jr., Lecture on Constitutional Law by Yale Law School professor, and former Solicitor General, Drew Days, on March 26. Of course, there literally are too many other events to mention.
Again, welcome back. I look forward to sharing an exciting spring semester with you at UC Davis School of Law!
