Visiting Yale Law School

I just returned from visiting Yale Law School where I gave two presentations in legal representation of immigrants in removal proceedings. On Friday, I talked to the Immigration Theory and Practice Workshop on a panel moderated by Yale Professor Muneer Ahmad. On Saturday, I presented a forthcoming paper in the Yale Law Journal at a conference commemorating the 50th anniversary if the Supreme Court's pathbreaking decision in Gideon v. Wainwright on the right to counsel.
Here's information about the symposium, where Professor Jack Chin also presented a paper. My law school classmate and Arizona Supreme Court Justice, and past visiting professor at King Hall, Scott Bales also participated in the conference along with professors from Yale, UCLA, Harvard, Vanderbilt, Tulane, Georgetown, and other law schools. It really was an energizing conference!
