King Hall Students and Trayvon Martin Solidarity Gathering
Posted By Kevin R. Johnson, Mar 29, 2012
This afternoon, many King Hall students came together to stand in solidarity with the movement to seek justice in memory of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, who was shot and killed by 28-year-old George Zimmerman in Sanford, Florida. The case is receiving national media attention. Law students assembled on the steps of King Hall wearing hooded sweatshirts (as Trayvon wore when he was killed) and stood in support of equal treatment under the law and a thorough DOJ investigation.
