King Hall Ranked Among Top Public Interest Law Schools

Great news: UC Davis School of Law placed No. 16 in preLaw magazine’s ranking of “Best Law Schools for Public Interest”!
In order to be ranked, law schools needed to have at least one public interest clinic, at least one faculty committee/administrator to oversee public interest, and a loan repayment assistance program. The magazine then rated these schools in three categories: curriculum (including courses and clinical opportunities), cost (tuition, debt, and loan repayment options), and placement (the percent of graduates working in public service). King Hall placed sixteenth, behind only Stanford and UC Berkeley among California law schools!
As always, I think it’s important not to place too much emphasis on rankings. Still, I’m pleased to see this recognition of King Hall’s excellence in public interest law. Congratulations to all those whose hard work and dedication made this possible!
