King Hall Presence at Leadership Conference

Posted By Kevin R. Johnson, Nov 14, 2012

Over the weekend, some of our law students, alumni, and staff participated in a leadership conference in Sacramento. Immigration Law Clinic Director Amagda Pérez sent me this great summary:

"Arnulfo Medina '12, Emily Wilson '13, and Stephanie Platenkamp '14 presented two sessions on Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) at the Second Annual Northern California Women's Leadership Conference hosted by the Mexican Consulate in Sacramento.  Their sessions were the most well-attended, and they presented the information in a way that was clear, understandable and informative.  I got great feedback from the participants and the consular officers.  Also, [staff member] Martha Jaime was one of the community leaders from Yolo County who was selected to participate in the conference and [staff member] Teresa Medina was selected as a representative of Solano County.  UC Davis School of Law really shone today."

Thanks to all for doing a great job representing UC Davis School of Law!
