King Hall and Legal Services of Northern California
Posted By Kevin R. Johnson, Jun 19, 2014
King Hall's faculty, students, and alumni have a strong tradition of law in the public interest. Since 2003, I have been the President of the Board of Directors of Legal Services of Northern California (LSNC). Recently, I was honored to be re-elected.
Legal Services of Northern California operates in 23 Northern California counties, offering free legal services to low-income clients. Professor and Dean Emeritus Rex Perschbacher was on the LSNC Board of Directors from 1990 to 1996. Gary Smith, LSNC's executive director, and Julie Rogado, deputy director, regularly teach public interest law classes at King Hall.
Numerous King Hall alumni also work with LSNC. To learn more, see the news story just posted to the Law School's website.
