King Hall among the "Best Schools for Public Service"

Posted By Kevin R. Johnson, Jan 14, 2016

National Jurist magazine has named UC Davis to its list of "Best Schools for Public Service."

The editors write, "The study recognizes the best schools in three categories — public interest, government and prosecutors/public defenders. It is based on curricular offerings, employment placement, and debt, starting salary and LRAP programs. It recognizes 20 schools in each category, with some schools appearing in more than one." I am proud to say that King Hall appears in two categories: prosecutors/public defenders and public interest.

It is a testament to our commitment to the principles of public service and social justice -- as espoused by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., for whom our building is named -- that we appear on this prestigious list! Thanks to National Jurist for this honor. And thanks to everyone in our King Hall community for your dedication to public service!
