JJLP Symposium on Human Trafficking, Sexual Exploitation of Youth

The UC Davis Journal of Juvenile Law & Policy (JJLP) held its annual symposium today.
The topic was "Combating the Sexual Exploitation of Youth." The symposium featured as keynote speaker Judge Stacy Boulware Eurie '95, Presiding Judge of the Sacramento County Juvenile Court. Other speakers included Kate Walker of the National Center for Youth Law, Krystal Callaway Jaime, formerly of the Family Protection Clinic, and representatives of district attorney, public defender, and nonprofit organizations. Professor Lisa Ikemoto moderated the first panel of advocates for at-risk youth. The final panel explored youth and the criminal justice system.
