Immigration Lecture at the University of Cincinnati

Posted By Kevin R. Johnson, Apr 17, 2014

This morning, I delivered a lecture at the University of Cincinnati College of Law. The lecture was titled "The Beginning of the End: The Immigration Act of 1965 and The Emergence of the Modern U.S./Mexico Border State." You can read more about the lecture on our faculty blog. See my article on the topic on the SSRN site.

It was great to see my old law school friend and moot court advisor Dean Lou Bilionis and Northern Kentucky law professor Tony Chavez, previously a stalwart in the King Hall legal writing program. The Cincinnati Law students I met, including Ajla Glavasevic, editor-in-chief of the Immigration and Nationality Law Review (INLR), were incredibly interested in, and knowledgeable about, immigration law.

Thanks to the University of Cincinnati and the students editors of the INLR!
