Great Company and Good Cheer in Oakland

On July 12, I traveled to "Uptown" Oakland on a beautiful Bay Area day to meet with UC Davis School of Law alumni at the trendy Hopscotch Restaurant and Bar. We had a great group of alums in attendance at our annual East Bay alumni lunch, including recent Alum of the Month Darryl Stallworth `96, John Maier ’97, Craig Judson ’84 (and his summer associate Kyla Hale ’18), Donald Margolis ’84, Maggie Trinh ’11, Suzanne Zalev ’07, Jerry Ramiza ’94, Komal Chokski ’04, John Dresslar ’79, Alexandra Ayoub ’12, Judge Gordon Baranco ’72, Pamela Grove ’77, Jon Vaught ’84, and many more. I talked about our amazing incoming class, accomplished and influential faculty, and the enduring community at Martin Luther King Jr. Hall.
The company was great, and the food and good cheer were something to write home about. The truth is that I feel privileged every day to be able to meet with our wonderful King Hall alums!
