Alumni Lunch in Old Sacramento
Posted By Kevin R. Johnson, Dec 4, 2013
This week, UC Davis School of Law held its annual lunch with Sacramento-area alumni at the historic Firehouse Restaurant in Old Sacramento.
We had a great turnout of recent and less-than-recent graduates. Among those in attendance included King Hall Alumni Board members Gage Dungy '03 (President), Michael Mills '97, and Amal Abu-Rahma '97. Past board presidents in attendance were Steve Boutin '72 and Tom Stallard '75. Alums in attendance included Ken Stone '75 and Amy Williams '05. Marion Cantor '82 told the group of the new picture of the late Thelma Kido, a former King Hall registrar, that she soon would be presenting to the law school. I enjoyed telling the alums in attendance about some very good news, including the stellar bar passage rate of the Class of 2013, the completion of the King Hall expansion and renovation project, and the strong entering class.
It is always great fun to get together with the King Hall faithful and I look forward to a Young Alumni Association event tomorrow in (hopefully) sunny Los Angeles. Learn more about tomorrow's great event in Los Angeles here.
