2013 Minnesota Minority Recruitment Conference (Career News for May 14, 2013)

Posted By Career Services Staff, May 14, 2013

Student registration for the Minnesota Minority Recruitment Conference will open on Thursday, May 16! King Hall students have received offers from this fair in the past! The MMRC is on August 2, 2013 in Minneapolis with a welcome reception on August 1. The MMRC is a great opportunity for 2L and 3L students to interview with the leading employers in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. Each year's conference includes around 25 employers and upwards of 100 law students. Participating employers may include small, medium, and large firms; corporate law departments; and public interest, nonprofit, and government entities.

Students interested in registering should visit https://law-tcc-csm.symplicity.com/students or the MMRC website at www.diversityinpractice.org. The Symplicity posting ID number is 343238. Questions can be addressed to Matt Buechner at mbuechner@diversityinpractice.org or via telephone at (612) 343-7999. Students from out of state should think about applying for the Frederick L. McGhee Scholarship, which helps students offset travel costs, as well. The deadline for students to register is June 7th.
