To support the excellent programs, offerings, and leadership provided by the UC Davis School of Law, Fenwick & West is sponsoring the TESLaw Lecture Series, a five-year program of annual symposia.
The TESLaw Lecture Series focuses on providing practitioners, academics, and students in law, management, bioscience, high technology, and other related fields with the knowledge base required to successfully address the challenges inherent to the growing, ever—changing markets of the 21st-century economy—computing, digital communication, social media, "clean" technology, and life sciences and biotechnology. Furthermore, the series strives to define these contemporary legal challenges in terms of their societal, governmental, and business contexts. Armed with this important knowledge, participants in the TESLaw Lecture Series will gain a competitive edge in serving the organizations that deal in these markets—venture capitalists, technology and life-sciences companies, social entrepreneurs, government agencies, and public interest groups.
